Singles

Every single is checked by hand against TCGplayer's condition standards, front and back. The condition on the listing is the condition you get.

  1. NMSold in store

    Near Mint

    Looks like it just came out of the pack.

    • No creases, bends or scratches
    • A tiny edge fleck at most
    • Clean, glossy surface on both sides
  2. LPSold in store

    Lightly Played

    Gently handled. Still looks great in a sleeve or binder.

    • Light whitening on a few edges or corners
    • A few small surface scratches
    • No creases or bends
  3. MP

    Moderately Played

    Clearly played, but fully intact.

    • Noticeable edge whitening and scuffs
    • Minor corner or edge dings
    • May have a light bend
  4. HP

    Heavily Played

    Lots of wear, still in one piece.

    • Heavy whitening and surface wear
    • Creases or a noticeable bend
    • No tears or missing pieces
  5. DMG

    Damaged

    Damage beyond normal play wear.

    • Tears, water damage or heavy creasing
    • Writing, stamps or missing pieces
    • May not be tournament legal, even sleeved

Pokémon singles in our store are listed in Near Mint or Lightly Played only. We use the full scale when we buy cards from you.

What we check

  • Edges and corners for whitening and dings
  • Front and back surface under light for scratches and scuffs
  • Bends, dents and creases
  • Wear on the back counts the same as wear on the front

How we pack it

  1. Checked against the listed condition
  2. Valuable cards go in a penny sleeve and top loader
  3. Sealed in a team bag
  4. Cushioned with bubble wrap or cardboard
  5. Shipped in a box or bubble mailer

Booster boxes, ETBs, packs & more

Sealed products

Sealed means factory sealed, exactly as it left the manufacturer. We don't open or reseal sealed product.

What to expect

  • Factory seal and shrink wrap checked before it ships
  • Outer boxes can have small dents or scuffs from the factory or distributor. The product inside is unaffected.
  • Pack contents are random. Pull rates are set by the manufacturer and can't be guaranteed.

How we pack it

  1. Checked for condition before packing
  2. Wrapped in bubble or crinkle wrap
  3. Packed in a sturdy box
  4. Marked with fragile stickers
  5. Security seal added where the item calls for it

Graded cards

Graded cards are listed by the grade on their label. The grade comes from the grading company, not from us, so the label tells you exactly what you're getting.

What we check

  • Every slab is checked for cracks and case damage before it ships
  • You can look up the certification number on the grader's website to confirm the grade

How we pack it

  1. Checked for slab damage
  2. Placed in a graded team bag
  3. Wrapped in bubble wrap
  4. Shipped in a properly sized box
